Nice part of the world, some really nice coastal drives  :) my ex was from the Isle of Wight, she was a complete headcase if that helps.

I thought I say it before someone else did lol.Ur right about the coastal roads,famous among bikers and drivers alike is the affectionally named Mili road,stunning scenery,long straights,shere cliff drops all make it the Isle of Wights driving mecca.

I have been there for a week on a primary school trip, was very nice from what I can remember.

I remember seeing a miniature village somewhere, a beach where they have a shop you can make multicoloured sand ornaments and I think it was called "BlackGang Chine"? Either that or I'm mixing up the name with a 50 cent album? :P

Bury is in Suffolk but I've spent quite a bit of time there over the past few years, mostly around Sandown and Shanklin  :) The multi coloured sand comes from the Needles (I think) but the fort and old rocket testing site there are pretty cool

No your are sort of right,the modle viilage is in Godhill(never been myself) and the sand place is Alum bay.Blackgang is at the end of the mili road at the southerly tip of the island roughly.I think there is anoter member in Ryde possibly according to the members map???
