after searching the internet for hours and not finding a 'how to' i thought i would write this little guide for anyone that was in the same boat as me! so here goes.
first of all you will need to put the car in to gear so when you take off the shaft screw the spline wont turn.

then take off the n/s road wheel

then you need to take the plate off the end of the gearbox these are 13mm and 10mm

once you have done this it will look like this! and you will need some small pliers to get the cerclip out of the left cog.

and you will need a set of tools like this

and undo the little nut you will need the 8mm torque/splined key and tap it in with a hammer (not hard!! just a couple of little taps)

then from underneath the car take off the inspection plate (11mm bolts)

now with the clutch showing you will need to use the little clamps that us ally come with your clutch kit

and attach them to the bit i have circaled there are three points that they need to be attached to you will see this as the flywheel turns...now if they don't fit you will have to adjust the clutch cable so the thrust bearing fully engages the pressure plate when someone steps on the clutch pedal for you

here is one of the clips fitted, now undo all the nuts on the pressure plate

now for pulling the spline out i used one of these clutch removal tools

but if you cant find one then you could use a nice long bolt with a socket slid on to it (should give the same effect)
here is the tool all set up but i was having a little trouble with it

so i decided to use it like this!

once this is done the clutch should just fall out in your hand....and fitting is reverse of what i just showed you...
so have fun and do it yourself!
