Vauxhall magazines
« on: July 22, 2016, 14:01:03 PM »
Hi Guys ,
Wandering around Smiths the other day looking for something to read I noticed I could not find any specialist mags covering Vauxhalls . Maybe I was having a senior moment at my age or they could have sold out.I found 3 mags covering, dare I say it Ford, so are there mags for Vauxhalls out there .
 Jepwee.

Same, I tend to cherry pick articles on line.

Yeah I believe they only sell them at the bigger WHSmiths. I used to buy it, from time to time there are some nice Cav turbos and Opel mantas but the majority are c20xe powered corsa Bs and new VXR corsa's.

The trouble with uprated corsa's is that many calibras had to die to donate their engine  :'(

If you want a powerful car why not have it look the part as well!

I know what you mean, everytime I see some hopped up hatchback it always reminds me of "The Nova Song": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtmqcGsuf0U

I found out that the first calibra I had was eventually scrapped for its Red Top engine. And yes, it ended up in a modified Nova.

The only issue of Total Vauxhall I have is the one with the article on a 2007 Club Calibra meet at Billing Aquadrome  :)
Drives: an original SE6 auto, 93,000 miles (approx) and still going strong......(but some work is needed!).
