Time to move on...
« on: April 02, 2017, 11:59:57 AM »
Hello all!

So after much deliberation, I have decided that it is time to part ways with my Calibra.

Truth is that I've loved building and tinkering with it but I just don't use it enough.  Having moved house several times over the last few years not near a track, I decided that I would give myself a year once I moved to Bristol to see if I used it living closer to a track, but after 18 months I just haven't. With my family growing up then I would rather spend my time at the weekends with my family than in the garage.

Also I plan on buying our family house in a couple of years, and don't want to be restricted to needing a garage and large driveway for the car and trailer to sit there.

Maybe in a couple of years buy a simpler, cheaper, hatchback track car that i can spend more time driving and doesnt need a 16ft trailer and large tow car to move it around, we will see.

Not sure yet if i'll sell it as it is or break it for spares, i'll put posts up here as I do for any parts you guys are interested in.

Thanks for all your support :)

I'll stick around mate, plus the garage full of boxes of spares might help keep the clubcalibra fleet going for a bit longer.
