Missing money that went overseas
« on: March 19, 2009, 09:58:09 AM »
Ok what ever happened about all that money that the Councils put in the overseas accounts? We have no roads or pavements serviced, but somehow we have these yellow strips of roadway keep appearing at road junctions. The pot holes in the roads are horrendous on the roads where I live. One road was having and still is, repairs done, holes filled in but 2 foot from the hole they filled is a gaping great hole that could have been done at the same time and islands and new traffic beacons that light up!
Are the councils not being asked if the money lost is their fault? I`m sure its not ours! Millions of this countries money went missing in the losses of these banks. I think they knew that this was coming and were warned so thought they would ferrett it away. Where is all the money that this `Labour` thieving lot gone, selling off hospitals and schools? Where I am is Romford Essex they closed 2 major hospitals and moved them to Queens, which is overworked. The maternity has been closed many times because they cant cope! Education was the main shout for Labour then they close schools and leave the kids needing it! They have to build extra schools and hospitals to cope! How thick are they? Need we ask. I could go on but I just start losing it, I end up shouting at the tele all the time!!!  ???

Don't know, but the council's/government's are money grabbing idiots, or whatever you want to call them I could swear even more. They always find a way to take more money off us.

I have to agree that the roads are in a state, also even my work carpark was greeted by some tarmac-ers the other week and I thought they were relaying the whole thing, then they just set to work, sawing through the concrete in a square and just filling around little reccesses in the car park, pointless, but there we go.

I have to agree though our hospitals are over worked and everytime I seem to have gone I've had to wait like 4 hours to be seen.

Outside my work they sent 6 people to replace 1 curb stone, how it takes that many people i don't know and a complete waist of resources, when 4 of them could be repairing something else. After 3 hours and 4 fag breaks they finally got the job done
