So far 62.5% in favour, 25% against and 12.5% indifferent.  Even if we include the 'indifferents' in the antis, that's still roughly a 3:2 majority in favour so far...

The average audience for a live Grand Prix is 650m, that was from a 2007 article so I would assume due to Hamilton fever ;) it was more this year and will be more again next, and I'll be one of them ;D ;D
Lewis Hamilton said that winning his first race felt better than having sex. Kimi's reply to that was, Maybe he never had sex.

you can't take polls on this forum seriously. For example look at the conspiracy theory thread where the 3 choices were;

*yes it was a cover up
*not really bothered
*no it wasn't a cover up

Unbelieveably some people chose "not really bothered" ?!! how the f*ck can you not be bothered ?! you either believe it was a tragic terrorist attack where innocent people died or a tragic staged attack on the innocent people by their own government ? how can you not be bothered either way ? i can answer that, the people who arent bothered are pricks !

with regards to F1 being in a poll on a "CAR" forum, it is always likely to have more F1 fans than F1 haters, maybe if you put the same poll up on a football forum you might have a different outcome ;) Maybe a poll on what do you prefer - footy or F1 ? you may get a more conclusive poll.

The football players only get paid as much as the fans are willing to pay to see them. If people could be bothered to turn up to F1 (bearing in mind that there are less F1 races in a season than footy matches) then Hamilcock would get paid alot more.

The atmosphere in a football stadium is out of this world, all the drama of watching your team winning one minute, losing the next, the tactics of the managers etc.. i cant say listening to a high pitched engine noise whizzing past once every few minutes really does it for me.

If F1 was all about driving skill and not sponsors, ass kissing, money, dumb rules and biased decisions then i might have more time for it but as it stands, the sport should just come to an end.

What is Hamilton fever ? i think i may have it ? are the symptoms wanting to stab yourself and drink battery acid rather than see him on TV ? if so whats the cure ? probably counting the blades of grass in your garden ;D

The cure would be not to watch BBC1 every other Sunday between March and Nov, or the news, he's so damn good he should be on it a fair bit next season ;D

Barcelona's nou camp holds 118,000
the maracana in rio holds 155,000

in england man utd get 67,000 every home game.
how often are the gp's? football is obviously much more popular so there's no argument there.

I agree money is spoiling football but clubs are still making money (not all I admit) So I imagine things will carry on as they are.

I have been silverstone a couple of times and for me it is nowhere near as good an atmosphere as a football match.
