Yeah nearly 30.

I'd have thought it'd have been cheaper.

I know it seems silly though how you have to do a CBT, but you could drive like a 5.8L Monaro, but then have to do a CBT on a 49cc moped. Anyone could pass a CBT it's just a way of getting money. Ridiculous.

I do understand that it seems silly to have to do a CBT when you can drive a car but there are some factors that people overlook.

For example,

*Overtaking is much more dangerous
*The weather can drastically affect your safety
*Road positioning is important
*Car drivers can be arseholes and put you at risk by being careless when overtaking
*You need to consider routes that you travel due to road restrictions

these are just a few of the obvious differences.

When you drive a car you develop a sense of security because you are surrounded by impact bars, crumple zones, airbags, seat belts etc, If you crash at 40 mph in a car you will probably live. On a motorbike there is only your clothing and a helmet between your head and the tarmac or somebodies windscreen!

I hate bikers but after owning a 50cc and 125, I appreciate the difference.
