I am sure someone earlier was inquiring about blanking the EGR Valve.
So since it was something i had planned doing on the Eco, i thought i would knock a quick guide together.
Well to start simply disconnect the plug from the egr valve,
there are two t45 torx bolts to remove to gain access to the metal gasket.

once removed just maneuver the valve out of the way.

this is the gasket as removed.

Now i am sure someone mentioned using a coke can earlier and whilst that would be a great, i didnt have one so i used an old sweetie tin lid.

I then traced around the original gasket.

then i proceeded to cut out the blank, now believe it or not a half decent pair of scissors will do the trick.

once i made sure that it was a reasonable copy with no obvious bits showing.

i then replaced both gaskets onto the valve and refitted, this way if you ever want to reverse it, then its just a case of taking the blank back off.

This is a pick of the Egr valve back in place with nothing to obviously out of place.

this only took about 40mins from start to finish.
Hope this helps.
