Wiper relays Omega MK2, GM 90494187
Connectors for 2 wires Female/male
isolation tape
What to do!.
Remove the plastic parts around the steering wheel column.
If you have a trip Comp (MID) and want to use the buttons on the stalk as wel.
take out the MID, make sure you can see the wires of the MID and the wire numbers!
Connect to:
Pin 1 brown wire
Pin 20 brown/white wire
pin 22 brown/red wire
Reconnect MID and place it back in position.
REMEMBER! THIS STALK DOES NOT REPLACE ALL YOUR CONTROLS AS YOU CAN'T SET TIME WITH THESE. YOU STILL NEED YOUR ORIGINAL CONTROLS FOR THAT
The stalk have, if fitted with MID control 5, if not fitted with MID Control 2 extra wires compared to your Calibra Stalk.
Remove the Calibra stalk and disconnect the wiring.
Check your original Stalk and search for letter J.
The Black/Yellow wire that connect to J is the wire you need to cut.
Make sure to keep workspace on both ends!
Give both ends of the cut wire a connector. Use a male and a female for this, So you can reconnect both if needed.
You have 2 wires left.
White/Black. We name this wire 1.
Yellow/black. We name this wire 2
Now read carefully.
one wire goes to the connector. We name this Wire 3
One wire goes to behind the dash in your existing cable tree. This wire is called wire 4.
Connect Wires 1 and 3 and Wires 2 and 4
Change the relays.
And you can adjust the interval speed!
First one to do so, can take the appropriate pictures.
Maybe worthwhile placing into How To section.
