Right been out to the cally for a bit.....put some air in one tyre(slow leak)....so...anyway the plan is to get the car started so i know it runs....then i know all is well with the engine....and when i do the timing belt n seal i know its something ive done at that part if it dont start.

Ok right when it was parked up for a few weeks i always went out and started it 2-3 times a week.....but when i came to get it moved to the drive way it would not start...turns strong though....the ECU light came on...CODE 21 TPS sensor....Would this stop the car from starting....?

So today i went down to see what i can do....now Ive never really had a calibra not start so its a bit new to me......I checked all the connectors and earths and all seems fine.....what i need to check is......

1....is there a spark at the plugs...?
2....is there petrol being pumped...?
3....have i got beer in the fridge as later i`ll be stressed lol

ok No1 i have no idea so i will buy these.....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-AND-12-VOLT-IN-LINE-SPARK-PLUG-PICK-UP-COIL-TESTER-IGNITION-DIAGNOSTIC-TOOL-/171389658158?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item27e79ea42e

No2...i can smell fuel..(little leak...near silver round thing near fuel rail inlet)

No3...sorted lol

Now...while the engine turns over ok after i turn the key back one click the ECU light flashes...(not always though)

Might this be the Imobilzer(?)

AFAIK flashing like that is an immobiliser issue yeah.
Lewis Hamilton said that winning his first race felt better than having sex. Kimi's reply to that was, Maybe he never had sex.

Why would it randomly not work though? Does it flash when cranking? I'd take battery off overnight and let it finish its strop lol!

Mmmn I'm not convinced then, if it was imm I thought it flashed when cranking myself...... Red barring I think, replace TPS as that will f*ck up fueling,  air etc I think!
