right instead of having diffrent topics all over the place i will post all my stuff here!

from the begining;

head off



bottom end out


clean the head up



enlarged the throttle body



stripped the paint off and re-painted the cam cover



i am trying to decide what colour i want the plug cover...what do you think? i found a spare one i painted with alloy paint
red or alloy?




last up for now is a few bits i painted up with alloy paint...looks brand spanking new dont it!  ;D

That engine stuff painting is making me horny! But then I saw the damage you did to your inner wing removing the bottom end, and my boner was no more. Dude, have a word.

Engine looks great though :)

First thing I noticed. Do you give it to the missis as rough as you beat your cars internals?

lol, that has been built up over time....from swapping so many engines over!

i have sorted it today, i gave it a couple of coats of paint....but i dont have any photos of that until my sister gets online as i used her phone to take the photo :)

if you look at the engine out photo again, you will see the bubbles where i was wet and drying the paint ready for painting..

real nice work mate. wonder could i paint the manifold in my car with hammerite paint lol or would the heat be too much for it. go with the silver cover mate

you can buy manifold paint.....which is what i will be buying once i have got everything on my shopping list.

Class work dude!! As you have sprayed the inlet etc silver, I say stick with the silver plug cover! Makes a difference to all the red ones everybody does!

You want VHT paint (very high temperature) or BBQ paint. :)
