the protective glass, is a sonnar "lexus style". I think temporary I will stick with these. For  model I did a really different glass but I do not think I will have enough budget this time. I hope If will be many of calibra owner who will want it, then I will be able to make that either.

Great progress, hoping for an awesome result, I'm tired of the old crappy replacement lights this seems like a good improvement.

Hey Guys,

Thing went really slow because my personal life turns lately. But I never stopped worked on this , even 30 min per day.
Lot of work- several hundred hours of work here, including mirrors Ray light simulation and modelling.

Now CAD file is completely ready. I started the new specs for the new CALI. The nowdays will be called :

CALIBRA MANGUSTA

Here you have the taillights of it- first render

I hope to have the inner part ready PRINTED untill European Calibra Days- I will be there this year !
Website with CALIBRA Mangusta Specs will be available by then, and also a demo video with these taillights features.
ONE of them Is ABS on/off, which is really nice for glossy ice when simply ABS is nothing than pain in the ***.

Question to all of you, please respond :

Would you like to pull the border part of the glass more outside the shell of the car?

Like in the Porsche concept taillight? This may hustle a litle bit the top view rear line of the car

Looking great!
In my personal opinion I wouldn't want them to stick out from the lines of the car.
I think what you have designed there looks pretty spot on. 👍
If you can produce lights that look like those pictures then I would definitely like some.

Well Tristandimond, I can do exactly as renderings, but better :D(because you didn't saw it lighten up) , I will bring this taillight project to life, the same as Calibra Mangusta , exactly as it is , but this time, I will need all of YOU guys to put your passion into it. Like a soul into a body :)

So if you all will want this, then we will be like tens, maybe hundreds we will have it on our cars!!.   Now, just about 4 people including me from the people who still drive a Calibra expressed their will.
 Let's spread the news !!!
Thank you to all of you who post the replyes !

I assume they are LED?
Also the only thing is you have no hole for the lock on those Renderings. Will this be added later?
