VIN decoder for Cali
« on: April 25, 2021, 16:06:05 PM »
Hello all, it's been a very very long time since I was on this forum, so long I couldn't even remember my user name.
I'm glad to see it's still around.

I own a 94 Opel Cailbra 4X4 Turbo that was imported from Germany to Japan, used as a show car and then imported to Canada.

I'm looking to find a collector here in north america who wants to purchase and restore my Calibra, since it's rust free and a shade under 80,000km

It has all kinds of Steinmetz bits on it but I haven't a clue what this Calibra started out as equipment wise.

Is there such a thing as a VIN decoder that will give you history or information on a Calibra?

VIN is W0L000085R1096318  so I know it started it's life in Germany but I don't know much beyond that.

Some of the interesting bits are that I have Steinmetz 17" wheels, yet from everything I've found I could only find this wheel available in a 16" size.  So I've started to wonder if perhaps there was some sort of Steinmetz special edition

Here are some pictures of the car from when I first purchased it back in 2010
