having visited n e c on sunday to try and carry my search on spoke vauxhall owners club about as much use a s a choc fireguard according to them a calibra will never be allowed into the club as its front wheel drive and all the cars in club have to be rears have we been disowned by vauxhall? or is it abetter than u syndrome think not

Its a club dedicated to Rear-Wheel Drive Vauxhall's obviously. You could join but would you really want to be part of a club that has nothing to do with the Calibra?

Think the club you are on about is the Autobahnstormers. I was at the NEC all last weekend on the JOV stand and they were next to us. They really only cater for Carltons, Omegas, VXR8s etc....
They shouldn't have been so rude though.

They were all over sixties and looked down their nose at my opel badge. They all drove RWD Opel's. Nice cars but members were a bit up their own arses.
