Previous 2.0 Red Top 16v owner here, used to live in Cardiff. I gave that Calibra to a 15yr old boy as a project for him to work on to save him hitting drugs but he had it stolen from him. I was gutted!!

Just bought another one though, 2.0 8v this time. Just gonna take my time and mod it. Now living in Treforest in Pontypridd. Once the car is to a good standard I will hopefully be attending some get togethers.

hi, my names scott im from caerphilly,

i have a 8 valve calibra se6 136bhp forest green with black 17" tsw stealth alloys.

totally standard car apart from the leather interior.
one of the cleanest examples ive seen for a long time,
only one spot of rust on the whole car!
n reg 96. 92,000 miles, mint. might be for sale soon, for the right price.

i checked it out mate on a price and specification website apparently the se6 calibra 8 valve was standard 136 bhp, all 8 valves before and after are stated at having 115 bhp

The XEV is 136 not the NE, you have the NE chap. Welcome BTW!

how can you tell the difference between an xev and a ne? i dont even know what they are, lol.

XEV is a 16v engine, NE is an 8v engine.

Pretty hard to get them mixed up mate. If it has a cam cover saying Ecotec it's the 16v.

If it just has the solid metal cover it's the 8v.
