thegeth top man been outside pulled me elephant trunk off oh my god full of crap dirt you name it it's in there.noticed me pollen filter needs replacing as well karma for you me old mucker  ;) lets hope that's solved my problem I'm betting you've hit the nail rite on the head

Lets hope so buddy i'm just waiting to see if my carpet starts to dry out, as with yours mine was full of crap. Don't understand why they didn't put the slit at the bottom rather than on the side as it's asking to get blocked up.

I know this is an old thread,
But easier to revive this than start another.

I seem to now be having the same problem with water in the passenger side footwell,

Could someone please just clarify for me what an *elephants trunk* is and where id find it?

Had a look around the bay and can see anything that resembles it?
Thanks Ash.

Open the bonnet, And look directly centre all the way up. Just behind the TURBO plastic cover thing you will see a piece of rubber with an opening at the side.
JB as a mod would destroy cc.com from the inside  :P Like a forum version of Alien  :D

Just as J said, you can't miss it. Also if you were to remove the scuttle panel, do clear that out as can get aload of crap blocking it in ther.
