you can buy the electronic parts catalogue that vauxhall use off ebay for a tenner, its much the same as this link above though, does have some nice extras. worth while investment

only downside is when you get yourself a part number and google it, that website inevitably pops up! doh!

pmsl  You've nailed it.  I use to be into top end and 0-60mph until i got my first diesel then it quickly became a competition for mpg.  My 1.7 dti astra the best i got was 60mpg not bad for a  ten year old car with 150k on the clocks.  But that was for sport.  With the calibra is done out of nessecisity lol.

But sometimes when you boot it, hear the v6 roar through the full powerflow exhaust and watch the trip comp drop to 7mpg and be thrown into the back of your seat you really dont care :-D  I love the V6, enough said.

Guys,

As you know owning one of these cars, especially the v6 variant or turbo, might be a challenge in acquiring parts. I know it is for me.

The website opeloem is not really any good in locating the part you might be after....not without the gm code. Yes you can get the Opel catalogue on eBay or for those who know .... Do a torrent search for Opel EPL I believe. You can get the catalogue and locate the parts you need. Very handy.

Cheers

I use

http://ecat24.com/opel/catalog/models/1/ (http://ecat24.com/opel/catalog/models/1/)

(Click GB at the top right) enter your VIN which helps

or

http://www.partsbase.org/opel/calibra-1989-1997/ (http://www.partsbase.org/opel/calibra-1989-1997/)

Hi,

If you're looking for some original GM parts, I usually look around these sites:

http://www.online-teile.com/opel/index.php
http://www.ersatzteile-original.com
http://www.carparts-pros.com

PS: partsbase is pretty solid; use it most of the time to look up an original GM part number  ;)
