How do these light up?

Is it the whole face that lights up (like the VDO gauges) or just the digits...?

On mine its the whole face that lights up, and the default bulbs are like a creamy/yellow colour so it makes the white dials look off white. I was thinking about a coloured bulb kit (maybe blue) but i'm not quite sure how they would look, probably best just to go for the white bulbs.

Bah! That's a shame... was gonna get a set to match the centre gauges I got but don't want the whole face to illuminate...

May have to go for plasma dials here...

Cheers for the info!

< 95 used grey dials that lite up the numbers and >95 used white dials that lite up the dial.
