Sender Unit for SE9 V6 Calibra

My car has been off the road for 3 weeks now. According to Vauxhall they don't make the sender unit which is leaking petrol under the tank anymore.....can you believe that!!! If i get a repair, (Weld) the sender unit is some small pins that could melt!!! It leads to the fuel lines from the tank....Has anyone the answer????? Please help :'( :

Have you tried a Local Motor Factors, they can normally be sourced from somewhere.

give them a ring, i reckon they will be able to get you what you need, ring them rather than email them though and they are very cheap

Have you rung round some of the places in Total Vauxhall, got a few bits for mine from doing that but can't sugest anywhere in particular....sorry :-[
