Newbie, winter tyre selection
« on: November 15, 2006, 15:01:14 PM »
I have two Goodyear eagle ultra grip tires at the rear and Goodyear eagle f1 at the front. That is of course temporary solution hence I bought the car recently, and of course I disable the 4x4 drive. I want to change front tiers to ultra grips, but the ultra grips I have are 205/55/16 and I want to know are this dimensions ok for winter tire usage because the instructions manual says that this tire size is not allowed for winter. Is there any good reason for that or can I normally bye two more ultra grips for front wheels in 205/55/16 size?

205/50R16 for the 4x4 turbo.
F1's not the better of the 2?
