Intermediate start problems

Hi all

I have a 1993 200 16V red top with a intermediate start problem, i have checked the codes and nothing, she would start for a week no problems and then the engin will turn but no go. I then disconect the pos on the battery for 5 min and then the problem is gone for a week, can anyone please help me

change CTS sensor if no joy then change the Fuel Pump Relay

i'd go for the fuel pump relay first, give it a whack before changing it as it may sort it out, these are prone to fail, they are loacated in the drivers side footwell

the ecu light will not light if the fuel relay has gone

check fuel pump is running when you are crancking if no joy, this will sound crazy but check full closure on drivers door a common problem is the immobiliser brain in the nearside front door pillar people kick them accidentally they also suffer a bit with minor condensation
