Mine had a K&N 57i fitted when I bought it & I added a powerflow cat back system shortly afterwards. The idle was pretty lumpy after that & there was quite a flat spot at low RPM.

I fitted an FSE to mine & it served to smooth out the idle & improve the flat spot, nothing more. Don't expect miracles with one, espicially with the 8v but IMO I'm happy I fitted one just to smooth out the above.

cheers dan for the reply, must admit mine has never suffered with uneven idle or flat spot, probably will fit one thou and just to be on the safe side replace all the seals in the injectors.
