The picture shows the wiring plug behind the dash for the fuel/trip computer numbered above 1 to 26 for each wire ,below is my drawing of the multiplug for the switch ,if your lucky you get when you buy the computer. The view of the plug is from the bottom of the multiplug, there you can see eight slots for the wires but only five are used 1,2,3,4 and 6.The picture above  also shows  the corresponding numbers from the switch multiplug to the terminals on the plug behind the dash, next to the enlarged numbers and Ive added the colour of the wires you need to connect the switch wires to,which make the cursour on the fuel computer display move. The problem is when wiring in the switch all of the wires on the switch bar one are all white,so what I did is fit my own multiplug then i could remove the switch and replace it if it ever broke, just get five different coloured wires and make you own minature loom.REMEMBER to write down what you have done for future reference.
Hope this is helpfull and you can understand it.

Just to make sure here are the numbers and the colours you need to connect to
1.  BROWN/YELLOW
2.  BROWN/RED
3.  BROWN/BLUE
4.  BROWN/WHITE
6.  BROWN/YELLOW
