I think that's a bloody awful idea!
The rear camber/toe on the Calibra is non-adjustable by standard. To to it properly (& for christ sake do it properly) get yourself a set of eccentric bushes (Powerflex do them), fit them & get them set up properly using laser alignment.

Good!
A tape measure & a bit of string is a very bad plan!

Lol!
Seriously though mate, Poweflex'd mine up at the rear late last year (eccentric bushes) & got it all set up properly. Does make a difference, got the full front kit as well (yet to be fitted) so should be nice & tight once I've finally got round to it.

I'm on 40mm G-Max shocks & springs, standard 15mm rear arb & the powerflex at the rear. Couldn't get the full tracking done as one of my track rod ends is on full adjustment so need to centralize my rack & replace both.
Ain't too fussed at the mo' though, the car hasn't left my garage since November! Got a good few months to get things done & all the goodys fitted to have some summer fun.

It can be done like that, if you really know what you're doing.
I could do it, but to be honest, I'd have to be crazy!
Well, maybe to get it to the alignment shop.
