  Any thoughts on E10 petrol as various sites are not clear if my C20 NE engine is OK.

“I don’t think there’s a sound response to this. At least I don’t know. I suspect the engine has no issues at all but the rubber lines, o rings etc will likely not deal with it so well. Honestly it’s a bit of a gamble. I run super on my v6 - which is still 5% ethanol - but I’ve always done that, it’s not because of the ethanol content change.”

   Good to hear from you and thanks for the info. I noticed that using E10 the revs on tick over are lower so I filled up with E5 and the revs have been restored. I do not often use the car now but drove it to work to try it out and it was fine. So I will have to use E5 from now on which will hit my pocket !
