Battery removal V6
« on: September 18, 2021, 15:08:42 PM »
Hi, I am new to Calibra ownership and have an R reg V6. I need to change the battery but the warning notice inside the engine bay says that disconnecting the battery will cause the power siren to sound. Can anyone tell me how to prevent this please as none of the manuals I have seem to contain this information.

Hi, As I understand the siren has its own built in battery, how ever over time this battery is now probably dead. It may give a short noise when you disconnect the main battery as the internal battery gives up.
Hope this helps.
