Hmm interesting mate. I'm surprised it failed on the LED's as i would say they are a blue white, rather than actually blue.

Its going in for its MOT tomorrow, so i'll mention it to the guy to disconnect them if its a problem, but i'll see what he says and report back. I wouldn't be surprised if this comes down to MOT tester's discretion and opinion on what colour you would actually class them as.

End of the day, providing there is access to them, you could change the colours. I wait to be told otherwise :D

It would also mean the main UK seller of these headlights is making false claims about them

Here's the seller i bought them from LINK

as in his ad he states

"1 Pair of twin Halo Front Angel eye headlights fully 'E' marked, road legal and comply with UK & EU Regulations"

and

"Road legal - Your car will NOT fail an MOT with because of these lights."

As I say, i'll wait and see what happens in the MOT tomorrow.

I meant - Are those LEDs accessible - can you get at them by unclipping a cover or so?

Oh i see lol. Just checked and yes these ones are very easy to get to and change/remove if necessary, so you could just pull them out for the MOT.

However, checking the colour of them again just now, they dont look any different than the bright blue/white LEDs on the new Audi's. I still think they should be fine.

They should indeed be fine. Can you tell what type of fitting they are?
IE 501 or whatever..

Worse case scenario would be to swap them over. No big deal.
