ah ok, can they be fitted to the likes of the ecotec engine? or would that require fitting a V6 alternator?

Ecotec alternator doesn't need a cooling fan. The cooling fan and duct pipes and V6 alternator are two different parts.

I agree with Robbie.

Ecotec's don't need them as the engines don't generate enough power to get hot ;D

Ecotecs don't need a cooling fan as they're cool enough already 8) As are the drivers 8) 8)
