« on: December 02, 2009, 01:25:40 AM »
Heya, its been a while since i posted my pics here...so here ya go...

PC Case is not yet finished u can see on some pics with flash letters on side "zotac" and "ion" wich will hopefully illuminate white when its turned on and when its off its hardly visible wich was the whole idea...front look will be changed it will say "zotac ion" fully transparent so u can see inside of the case...it will be located above the glowbox. its zotacs ION motherboarad with integrated n330 (intel c2d 1.6) cpu and nVida 9400m graphics with 512MB shared memory...it supports up to 4gb of ddr2 800mhz ram (2x2gb) runs games very nice so as HD videos...AND those case LEGS are only temporary as i found them first instead of thin screws ;)

old pics with laptop as carPC and worn dash

In my country ppl usually dont know what uber means and they think its german word with 2 dots above U :) since im involved in gaming soon as i saw that word in gaming world i started using it (it was like 4-5 years ago)

@VII CKS
Dont understand that about wheels but id grind off that stuff in the end of the spikes together with fashion screws and paint them black :) i found them on classifieds if i bought new model would be different but ok this ones are quiet good

a

I disassembled apple dock and fill it in the dashboard with fiberglass now i can put all iphones without removing cases :)

in the end...

I was doing it with a friend, we wrapped whole dash with one piece of carbon vinyl...

Welcome mate, as above, that is a lot of work you are doing, but really looks great, i like how you placed the trip computer next to the light switch, i thiunk i might use that idea myself, i am also gonna start trying to customize my dash, and do a few changes in the future, and that is a neat idea.  ;) ;)

Youve kept the car neat also, nothing over done, or eccentric, fair play dude. ;)

Dunn beware of one thing (about trip computer) when driver seat is not all the way back u cant see display because wheel is in the way :) so if u wanna do it factory way u should do it like i modified it

now display will be swapped with light switch so it will be visible to most of drivers :) even tho im the only driver in my calibra but factory is factory :Pp

I would like to think OP looks like this and spends his evenings channeling lightning into his 8v.

"LIVE! LIIIVE!"

...Bloody hell OP you're a genius and you're NUTS. In an awesome awesome way!

PS what's this bit?? The little blue reader/readout thing. Not biometrics is it?
Das it Miscbrah.

Thanksss, i realized now i forgot to post pictures of alubutyl dumping (unbranded dynamat). When i disassembled interior to install AC i did manage to put 8.5m2 of 2.2mm thick alubutyl extreme, i did everything except the roof (i did rear "wings" even around the fuel tank cap it was nasty) so it will be exactly 10m2 of alubutyl when i finish the roof which weights 35KG ;). Im about to finis box for 2 IDmaxes i hope next weekend, and for rear speakers i got another Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 set :P

Alubutyl works, i did scrap factory isolation from the floor and did some minor welding, protecting and then sticking some nasty alubutyl sound and vibration deadener ;)

My 2 IDmaxez almost ready, need some more trimming and gluing on that carpet, strange box but i didnt have much space because of LPG tank and loved idea of watching one in the mirror... Since woofers are DVC4 and DVC2 ill need 2 amps and one will be reversed polarity... Box is per spec 1cu ft (around 28liters) and 0.9cu  (around 25liters). I will put white LEDs inside to match the rest of the interrior lighting.

Hahah gargy poliester style no more! Ive got lucky and found irmscher body kit, not my first choice but since its original and more durable then fiberglass crap i took it. Also it is very rare especially in serbia. I like sideskirts the most, the bottom part, not all the way to the side trims but anywayz it will be done next year with side trims fully irmscher kit except trunk spoiler i hate that :). As you can see it has 2 colors looking ugly and i got them fairly cheap. Its not in great condition, but overall great find! I still have to decide which color to paint or wrap the car, red looks nice with this body kit but i wanted to change, will see :P

Totally forgot to put pictures after lowering it 40mm. It was done last year, car is not being driven for years i just fire it up once a month and drive for few hundred meters...

And few months ago had some troubles with fuel hose going from the fuel tank to the fuel pump so my calibra friends helped me out ;).

After almost 15 years and almost 100k km in my ownership, she had to go. Its been 2.5 years since i drove HER last time ;).

Its still in the neighbourhood, ive changed the dashboard, removed lexmaul intake and ecu. Standard interrior is back. Painted some parts, and slightly polished it, its almost standard now :).

Wish all the best to the new young owner ;).

Last pictures i took!
