Last week she went to visit ex owner.
Since engine work is going very slowly, I've had to spend some of its budget!
8400 from 2003 was temporary solution, now its 2004
, color display, DSP with TA etc...

Thanks, engine looked good too
. Third piston got melted, others are measured including other 3 bores, everything is in factory tolerance. My bad, prolly got lean and i drove it over 7k rpm that day so it got hot...

I have decided to visit my friend and help him assemble my car. Traveled 250 kilometers via bus carrying turbo in my bag
. So i was not going back without my car
Day one
Parking the car in the garage, enjoying recaro seats and pumping lumbar support
. Fitting standard ecu and putting back the glove box. Changing coolant pipe with metal one.
His godfather came later to finish the engine, he is the one who did the full rebuild, busy man with a lot of knowledge. I was washing the parts while they checked the transfer box and changed the viscous coupling, other bits were fine.
Mounting the txb, oil sump and washing oil mesh.
Putting the engine in, mounting steering fluid pump and AC compressor for like 3 times back n forth because of the belt n other stuff we forgot
.
Day two
Putting back the steering pump, ac comp, tensioner and finally the belt. Connecting hoses, wiring loom and stuff.
Engine started after about 3 seconds
we've had to change 1 fuel hose. Engine runs perfect, all the tappets became quiet after about 15mins. Filled and bled the steering system and finished other bits. Everything works fine, engine runs really great. Fuel pressure regulator is standard so as injectors and everything for now. Engine is standard, third cyl has a sleeve others were fine by measurement, changed third piston, rings and cr bearings. Drove the car back home that night.
Finally together
When i get time ill clean it thoroughly, no rush.
Big thanks to my friend and his godfather for doing amazing job on assembling the engine. They were very lazy, for almost 2 years they were working maybe 7days including 2 with me just to put the engine back in

Decided to paint door handles and put some "music" in - my way
[/quote]
Rear tweeters and painted handles
Changed to oem wheels, painted front bumper trim
got decibel number plates, had to finish my 2year old trunk setup
One gauge "glass" was broken so i made new ones spherical and ultra glossy
I will put in bigger amp for my compo systems instead of this tiny on the right and then i can finish upper cover as planed long time ago
New fuel hoses, filled the ac but after one day gas came out, compressor is leaking
Shirts are ready for Serbian Calibra Day. In the meantime ive bought clutch cable but it wont fit, will fit it on brown cali, ordered new type from Germany. Removed AC compressor will fit new seals and put it back tomorrow and we're ready for teh summer

Repaired AC compressor, no more leaks for about 2 months, havent got time to write earlier
Changed all the fluids
Ordered otto-modell 1/18 magnetic blue same as mine. Its may 2017 model made in 1250pcs
Old school retro, Ive tried pioneer ipod adapter and its great, nice sound since its IP-bus controlled input. Digged out my old steering wheel remote just for fun like in old times
More powder coating and some painting.
Got new clutch cable from germany, new model, oiled with silicone oil as per instructions
Trunk is progressing nicely and slowely. Lots of measuring, drawing, CNC cutting. Its hard to draw it since trunk shape is challenging.
And i made myself an monument hahah
I have to sand the edges, letters etc. Laser cut some plexiglass and I line it with the board by forcing it in
Some under bonnet painting
One pic of calibra meet SM serbia
Polished forge blow off

Thanks Will!
Front bumper was cracked so I've swapped it with the green one
, fitted FMIC without pipes for now and polished whole car.
Old bumper used for short time. Got 55w xenon h1 low beam
Polished remus, spent about 5 hours polishing
, minor changes to my "tomb" in the trunk haha will put some LEDs when I get time
Took out center gauges so I can use middle vents, traveled a lot and AC works good.
New batter terminal and 50mm2 + for the alternator.
TXB piston seal has failed, not know cause
Since im 2WD for now, I might lower it a bit, I've bought new 17" wheels and p zero nero 215/40 tires, when i get time I'll fix txb and probably get a camber kit if i decide to lower it.
And few pics from vacation
