Guide to Replacing Alternator belt (Late Type)

If your lucky enough to have access to a Pit then this job is alot easier.

Firstly Place a Jack underneath the engine to support it when removing the front/left engine mount.
Next...Open the bonnet and remove the air trunking, afm and airbox.

Next...Remove the belt from the pulleys by turning the bolt (15mm spanner) on the tensioner clockwise which is located next to the PAS pump.
Removing the engine mount complete is fairly easy there are 2 15mm bolts on the chassis and 3 15mm bolts on the block, remove the mount and belt together. Remove the 9mm allen key bolt from the rubber part of the mount. This will now allow you to remove 1/3 bolts which was covered buy the rubber part. With all 3 bolts removed

This will allow you to remove the old belt and get the new one in

Refitment is in reverse order.
