Classic & Modified Show
« on: May 25, 2009, 09:58:02 AM »
Although i am new to clubcalibra.com i have owned 6 callys in the past and love showing them off. I am currently heavily involved with the classic car scene and I am the secretary of a club ( Marina & Ital Club Ecosse ) which you can view here if you like www.morrismarinaecosse.c om  Any how i do the organising of shows etc and the reason for this reply is i am booking a club stand for a show in hamilton which takes in all classic and modified cars. It would be no problem for me to sent away a form for clubcalibra.com to have some cars there if we could get numbers and as long as the admin of the club don't have any problems with this. The show date is Sunday 16th August and the closing date for entries is 26th June I can get mine along no problem as well as my marina in the classic section. If anyone wants to go we could get something sorted.

mine isn't exactly mint either, still got some patch og rust on the door and at the bottom of the wings where the mudflaps were removed but like you say a good chance for a day out and from what i can remember it was very busy last year. Just of the m74 and a few miles from the m8.

Maybe interested but I am area rep for VODC as well and am presently trying to drum up interest from there (though we are quite sparse in Scotland).
So depending on interest from there I will either be with them in my Carlton or with you guys in my Calibra ;)

just fuel and your lunch jamsey. Free entry to the show as you are an exhibitor, but we need to get some numbers pretty quick as time is running.

If its just visit rather than an official stand maybe we can team up with the VODC crew? (only got 3 or 4 off there so far.seems a lot of people are away at that time.)
Don't think the cally I have will be up to it so I will be in Carlton anyway.
