Title: How do you change GTE digital clocks from kph to mph..?
Post by: MadMonk56775 on May 07, 2011, 13:32:35 PM
Hi ive recently bought a very nice Calibra Turbo which has a set of mk2 gte digital clocks installed in it. Unfortunetly theyre in kph as i think it was modded in europe although it is a British registered Vauxhall. It does have lights thats indicate that it can read in mph but i cant find a button or any way of making it switch to mph...
                                                     Please someboby help...lol.

There should be a button on the clocks themselves at the bottom IIRC.

find the button to reset the mileage, and twist it either left or right, and your clocks will switch back to mph

Twisting the mileage reset button is the way to do it, if that doesn't work something is broken inside perhaps where it connects to the switch it toggles.

Edit: where in lincs are you?

Just to let you know i have been fecking about with a set of digi dash clocks recently and i found that the reset spindle was quite stiff to say the least, but it will turn i will have a look tonight at which way you need to turn them, but for the sake of 20mins i would wip the clocks out and have a look as it may need a bit of lubricating. it dont take long to do, but i will check for you tonight all the same.  :)
