Hello Everyone im new to calibra's and this site just got my first calibra at the age of 26!!
It needs a lot of cosmetic work but even though its only an 8v it still go's like a train and it isn't
even a turbo!

Anyway just thought i'd say hi and to tell you all i live in glossop its about 1 hour from everywhere in the north west lol. In between sheffield and manchester.

Ive attached a pic of my new calibra anyway (opening up myself to a world of abuse lol)

See ya all soon ill attend a meet!

Nice wheels and no doubt you'll get around to sorting the cosmetic issues with the help and encouragement (abuse!) from people on here! ;D

hi kitnskye.. welcome to CC.com and i hope your ride with us and your calibra is a smooth one!  :D

Your cali looks great apart from the spoiler(but that's just my opinion.. just not my thing for a everyday car).. black rims look nice against the red paintwork.

Is that cream leather trim you have there? I have the SE5 which is also an 8v and yes she shifts.. although i have had a go of a v6 and 16v and they really do shift!

Been to Glossop.. quite a nice place(it was all snowy and postcard like when i was last there).

Anyway, happy calibraing.. you are now one of the elite! lmao  :P

Glossop..... ,i thought glossop was in somerset......

I Always wondered why the northwest papers had adverts for someone called glossop caravans!

I actualy saw a calibra in liverpool today,1st for some time, a dark one by sefton park, strange sight now round here as if you have one the `fascist pig coppers` pull you every time you leave the house, thats why theres none round here anymore, too much hassle

Glossop, I have fond memories of the place.

Black pudding from the market and many a cracking morning-after-night-before breakfast in a proper caff at the start of the Chapel road.

Glossop is lovely. All I remember are epic roads surrounding it. Absolutely the sort of place I'd love to live :)

they are a rare sight round liverpool, im spendin a lot of time round anfield and not seen any, touch wood the coppers havent stopped me yet, lol, they cant keep up, lol

I'm in Manchester, but I'm in Liverpool 1st/2nd November will be doin a bit of cruisin about then hittin the centre at the night time for a good ol piss up  :) If you see me wave ... preferably with more than 1 finger !!

Alright All,
Whats going on, dont seem to be many from my neck of the woods around on here, Im in Blackpool ! I Know someones got to be ha !
Anyhow Im just sorting out the Cally, just got engine sorted  ;)
Hopefully looking forward to some meets after new year etc

I seen a few around Blackpool, but most of them should be in something else. Not much good avin a Cally then driving it at under 30mph !Dont seem to be any meets. I end up taking on BMWs & whatever, love it when they back off touching the ton !!Just got another so when I got the work it needs done then we'll be looking for a buzz  ;)Mark

There were definitely a few members up for a meet in the NW, but no one tried to organise one.  If you look at the Members Map you should be able to see how many on this site have bothered to add their Pins, so you could PM them directly.  Or start a new thread asking if anyone else would be interested.
