I actualy saw a calibra in liverpool today,1st for some time, a dark one by sefton park, strange sight now round here as if you have one the `fascist pig coppers` pull you every time you leave the house, thats why theres none round here anymore, too much hassle

they are a rare sight round liverpool, im spendin a lot of time round anfield and not seen any, touch wood the coppers havent stopped me yet, lol, they cant keep up, lol

I'm in Manchester, but I'm in Liverpool 1st/2nd November will be doin a bit of cruisin about then hittin the centre at the night time for a good ol piss up

Alright All,
Whats going on, dont seem to be many from my neck of the woods around on here, Im in Blackpool ! I Know someones got to be ha !
Anyhow Im just sorting out the Cally, just got engine sorted

Hopefully looking forward to some meets after new year etc

I seen a few around Blackpool, but most of them should be in something else. Not much good avin a Cally then driving it at under 30mph !Dont seem to be any meets. I end up taking on BMWs & whatever, love it when they back off touching the ton !!Just got another so when I got the work it needs done then we'll be looking for a buzz ;)Mark

There were definitely a few members up for a meet in the NW, but no one tried to organise one. If you look at the Members Map you should be able to see how many on this site have bothered to add their Pins, so you could PM them directly. Or start a new thread asking if anyone else would be interested.

I'd wait for it to get a little bit warmer anyway. The weather is never predictable in this country (think of the summer we've just had), but wandering around looking at other people's Calibras in the rain is one thing, doing it in freezing rain in a driving gale is not such fun! Unless you plan to do something indoors, like Ten Pin Bowling...

You could start by trying to get a list of members in the North West who might be interested in attending a local meet. You could even PM those shown on the Members Map in the North West. When you've got an idea of who is interested and where they live, you might have a better idea of where would be the best place in the North West to hold a meeting.

Hi Rik,

Congratulations on buying the Calibra and welcome to the Club.

Have a look at the members map and you will see which other members are in your area. Not everyone puts their pin on the map, but it's a good start. There are several other members very near you: Anglemouse, Lee69, Tomo28, Day2k and various others not that much further away. Some of them wanted to get a NW Meet going, so it might be worth contacting them directly (via PM) suggesting a meet.
