Hello!

GT4's are  8) Just look for usual things you would do when buying a second hand car, only thing I can really think of V6 specific would be the cam covers, they tend to leak, very common. Most folk fit Vectra B metal cam covers and gaskets to solve the issue :)

Happy hunting you just missed a cracker on here :-\

Check the alternator fan is working, also check for oil in the coolant bottle (oil cooler fubar).

V6's don't run well with induction kits on.

The engine bay gets quite warm and the cone sucks up warm air, which is less dense than cold air. Cold air is what you want.

The car will run better with a standard airbox and either standard filter or performance panel filter fitted.

A guy on here called phillip just sold a P reg V6 with an induction kit fitted and you've just bought a p reg V6 with induction kit fitted.

Wondered if you were the buyer :)
