6000k is the temperature (colour) of the bulbs, a fairly bright white.

Going higher (8000k) is more blue, through to purple at higher temps.

Look in my build thread, I've got plenty of pics of me fitting and testing mine

Lewis Hamilton said that winning his first race felt better than having sex. Kimi's reply to that was, Maybe he never had sex.

I got the 6000K 55W HIDs. Best thing I've bought for the Cali except for petrol.

If you want a "whiter" light, you need the colour temp around 5000K. 4300K is more yellow, though brightest, similar to sunlight.

Don't forget, you need H1 type bulbs.

Loads on EBay at the moment, from around

May I take this oppourtunity in thanking everyone who left me info regarding HID Conversion kit. It has been most helpful & I will be ordering a kit soon & will gladly let you know the outcome once I get them fitted.  :)

I recently enquired about the fitting of HID unit & am now pleased to report that the kit has been fitted. What a difference, I can now actually see the road & a lot more at nights compared with the birthday candle standard lights that I had. Well worth the cost.

(hid unit, H1 35W Pro Plus HID Xenon Conversion 6000k with 501 LED Xtreme Power 1.5W 360 degree upgrade bulbs, sidelights white)

From another thread I saw you got them from HIDS4U.co.uk
If you'd read my thread here you could have saved 2/3's of the money you spent.

Glad you've joined the Elite and got the HIDs though.
