wing mirror cover removal?

Hello,

can anyone tell me how to remove the interior triangle cover, that fits over the wing mirror securing bolts, thank you.

From memory, I think they just pull off. if you break it then I was wrong :D

Vex is correct, it will still break though, the clips are sh*t when re fitting.

I think at the furthest (thinnest) end it's like a 'pop' clip & you need to pop that out first. For the two clips nearest the glass you need to slide the cover forward a few mm so they come free without snapping.

99% it will still break anyway!  ;D

I damaged the internal parts, when the wing mirror hit the tree whilst I was reversing, is it possible to replace them and for me to reuse the undamaged colour coded mirror body and glass again, can someone give me a quick guide how to do it, thanks.
