Weird connector in the radio area
« on: February 21, 2019, 03:16:36 AM »
Searching for the radio wiring on my recently bought Calibra, I stumbled across this connector which you can see on the picture. Can anyone tell me what does it do ? Cheers!

It could be the original factory fitted radio harness........other than that not a clue. :-\

What about the harness for one of the seat heater switches??........just press the heater switches to see if the switch light comes on.

Sometimes when in manufacturing the main dash harness had plugs and connectors that were on the harness but not needed for a particular model.

If all of your dash switches are  working.......I wouldn't worry about it.

Looks like a relay base probably a defunct immobiliser.
