Hi people I have a calibra turbo with a blown head gasket and broken inlet camshaft I'm having no luck finding a c20let camshaft, can I fit a c20xe camshaft with out adjusting the timing. it seams hard to get the timing set up right. any help please

7deg (retard) is the right set-up. You can do a decentralization on pin hole seat on cam pulley. Once fitted shim gap with a small metal piece and lock cam pulley. check here

I may have a set of C20let inlet / exhaust cams in the garage. I'll have a look tomorrow if you're still interested.

If you ain't go for an higher boost pressure I wont go for a XE inlet camshaft, you'll lose a huge amount of torque on low end and car become not so smooth to use but shifted only on max power affecting driving on traffic

I using eds phase 3 it has 5 power stages(170, 204, 260, 285, 310hp) and my qustion is if i'm using the 170hp or 204 hp stage 90% of my drive is worth to put c20xe intel camshaft? or put both c20xe? thanks

XE inlet camshaft moves up your rev peak torque point. It ain't usefull into lower power stage, maybe car will become really not easy to drive with a lack of boost really important. Mostly interesting from Phase 2, that mean from 250hp or more an XE camshaft have senso, below that I guess no
