Oil Level Low (Dashboard) Wire Colors
« on: September 09, 2018, 20:15:27 PM »
Does anybody know for what wire colors I should look under the hood for the low oil level to light up on the dashboard? Obviously the connector has been cut somewhere but I need to find the colors to connect to the sender.

Hi  :)

On my Cally turbo the low oil level sensor is on the sump pan......don't know if it is the same on your car.

Just raise the front of your car and look for a Square panel with 4 bolts and wires coming out from the centre.........if you remove the outer cable

Insulation those wires you can see will be the colour coded wire you are looking for.  Trace the wires back towards the bulkhead and check for any breaks. Etc that may be causing problem......Nearer to the sensor..(Sump end)   There should be an inline plug and socket which may be disconnected.

Hope this is a help to you.

I know where's the sensor and the wire coming out from it, the problem is, I COuldn't find a matching connector that's why I need wire colors to make a connection.

On both the older and newer model wiring diagrams the oil level sensor is S95:

Wiring colours are brown feed in (earth or -ve) and brown/green stripe out to check control.
