I no what ya mean Shifty about RR being a possible disappointment! Think everyone should expect a bit less than what they work out on paper! Every car looses most of its ' horses' within the first 35'000 miles! an no cally is that low on miles!!! But RR gets the thumb up from me,I have a 4x4 turbo. Chipped, uprated intercooler wiv in car boost switch. and (according to last owner) is 270bhp wood like to know for sure. went to meet wiv calibraboy. his did a very good job of keeping up!!! (till the car in front of me moved over!! lol)  NA his is QUICK. (at getting to national speed limit) ;) :)

in my experiance the vauxhalls i've had rolling roaded havn't lost much bhp at all, infact my standard mk3 astra gsi c20xe made 156bhp more the stock figures , and the calibra LE made 194bhp when that was stock so not bad at all! rolling road days get a big thumbs up from me too, just a good day out with as load of laughs, who cares what engines got what bhp!

The problem that people have always had getting RR sessions organised in the past is the problem of getting that many members to commit to turning up on the day (and paying in advance, so that the organiser isn't out of pocket if anyone doesn't turn up).  Considering how difficult it can be to get 15 people to turn up to Regional events, like the recent East Anglian meet, or the Yorkshire meets etc., it could be difficult to get 15 members to sign-up for a RR session.  Don't let me put you off - if you can get 15 members committed good luck to you.

You might need to set up a session provisionally and then advertise it on .com, .net, migweb, VBOC etc. & see if you can get enough people interested.  15 members at 30mins each would take over 8 hrs (allowing for changeover times) - a full day.  If sessions are a bit shorter, it might take less time, but not everyone will want to hang around for the whole day.

It's not just for the east the hole club can come . Think it would be good for those who are going to mod ther car to see what she's got then go from there .I will be posting it on the vauxhall drivers club site aswell
