31st August right? Just checked that's a Monday.
That's fine with me as I don't work, I guess a few will have to book it off work (i.e. Heather, and those who work weekdays).

Is that the date you meant Dave ?? A Monday seems an odd day to do it ??

Yeah does seem a little odd the day, but it varies as everyone either works weekends or works weekdays (hence why some people couldn't come today). Perhaps a Friday evening when people often leave off work early would be a good idea?

is it only a 2wd roller, as would be good to go 4WD but can do either, will have to check about work but should be ok, need to hurry up and get my phase 2 sorted out!

Oh right, I know a place nearby that has a 4WD roller in Manningtree Essex. Think it's called Abbots Racing, have any of you guys heard of that?

I'm sure it begins with an A- I'll have to find out. We may go their prior to the one in August, perhaps get some rough reading of what the car is pushing out as mainly standard now. Don't want to go to an RR, I don't think we should risk it as the gaskets need doing on the SE2 and a proper service first.

Isn't that the Bank Holiday Monday?

If so, are you sure that the RR place will be open.  If it is, it might be a good day because those who normally work Monday to Friday may be able to make it.

I just found out the Maninngtree one is like a motorsport kind of place and not sure they have a Rolling Road but there is one local on an Industrial Estate called Frost Motors, they do RR's but they are only 2WD rollers, only nearest 4WD is Chelmsford way.

Besides Courtney should be a fun treck. Just need prices.

In a non sarcastic tone, why would anyone who hasn't got a modified engine want to go on a rolling road day?

Be sure to post up all your v6 graphs so we can see how much money and work you have put in to make an extra 5bhp ;D

1. To see whether their car is still producing the amount of torque and power that it is supposed to have started with;
2 If they are planning to modify their car, to get a benchmark to compare the effect of subsequent modifications against.
