right this a guide to fitting your new anti-roll bar bushes common faults are the end anti-roll bar bushes these tend to snap away from the botton arm causing considerable handling problems

The anti roll bar bush is made up of 3 parts an hardend plastic outer casing ,an rubber compound in the middle and a threaded bar after time this threaded bar takes strain on it and snappeds causing the anti-roll bar to come away from the wishbone

step 1- jack your car off the road/surface and remove the wheel place the wheel underneath the car for added safety...

step 2- spray the bush with wd40 to looseing the bush from the bar this may take some time to remove as the rubber does hold on tight to the bar and usally take some heat either a oxy and asseltle torch, if this is not available use a hacksaw to cut through the plastic to cut the bush into 2 pieces
see pic

step 3- get some sandpaper and sand down the end of the roll bar to make it smooth and not rough as this will help the new bush to go onto the bar.

once this is done get some copper grease and put it around the bar and into the new bush...

step 4- applying the new bush will take some effort  as these are new and need breaking in so to speak get a crowbar and pry the new bush onto the roll bar evenly lining up the new bush with the wishbone holes  remember to

step 5- with the new bush in place it will be up against the drive shaft so for the threaded bar of the bush to go through the wishbone so you need to get a jack and put it up againts the bottom of the wish bone as close to the brake disc as possible and jack up until the new bush is enlined with the wishbone  with the rubber bush now inplace between the new bush and the wish-bone and the bolt is through the ready for the 13mm nut..

step 6- tightern the nut up with a 13mm spanner untill it nips up DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN AT THIS POINT, now lower the jack you have placed at the brake disc and remove from the area, now re-tightern the nut at the new bush and tightern untill its F T (F***ING TIGHT)

step 7- rplace the front wheel and tighteren wheel nuts at 100 nm lower the jack and check the bush from underneath the car, test drive the car and recheck the new bushes bolt if still tight then jobs a good one

*TOOLS NEEDED*

(now re-tightern the nut at the new bush and tightern untill its F T (F***ING TIGHT)

Incorrect...only tighten the nut to the require point where it compresses the bush to a thickness of no less than 38mm..
Vauxhall Vectra GSI V6.. (awesome)
