Sometimes our boot doesnt shut you really have to slam it. Should some WD40 on the lock do?
Awaiting pictures x

underneath the boot door there should be to rubber mounts
twist them so they screw further in the door
This should help/work
If she thinks you don't love her then
a) Take her out for a meal
b) Buy her some flowers or
c) Cram it in her ass. Dry.
Then she'll know you do!

no
If you open the boot and look up at the door itself, they are either side of it.
They are just little circle shaped pieces of rubber  :)

What does that have to do with bootlids?

when you guys come across a problem do you actually try and solve it then and there or do you go straight to the computer and look up CC.com ?

i found my boot wasn't shutting properly on my car, i checked the latch for any adjustability and other obvious adjustment parts and sure enough i saw the 2 rubbers on the boot lid and hey presto the problem was sorted !!!

come on guys, use abit of initiative ::)

Had the same problem, screwed the rubbers in and the boot closed nicely.
But then when ever I go trough a hole it starts to make noise.
Any cure for that?

iv messed around with mine for ages, screwin them in and out, sideways and upside down. i can get the lid to shut without slamming but then it doesnt sit flush and when im goin round a corner or over a bump the lid rattles like fook, which is almost as annoying as my rubberless exhaust.

any ideas?

I know it's a while since this was posted but have you managed to sort it out ie the boot rattle?

I had this problem after i adjusted mine, I found that if i screwed them right up, the boot would close but it would rattle a little. So i slowly tweeked them down slightly on both sides until you get to a sweet spot where it closes first time but the rubber bits are supporting the boot :)
Bye Bye SRI!
