You need these four bits, ring Autovaux and tell them what your after.
Lewis Hamilton said that winning his first race felt better than having sex. Kimi's reply to that was, Maybe he never had sex.

Fair point, but the fact he asked about it means this thread isn't visible enough.

I've noticed that a lot actually, I go to the bother of making a good guide to something then nobody bothers looking for them.

I might as well just be a useless c*** like Shifty

Nail on the head right there. Same as sunroofs, tap sunroof into search and twenty ten million threads will appear, it's not hard but there you go ;D

It sucks being at the bottom :(

Guides section does get overlooked I must admit, I done a guide on sensor faults yet this keeps popping up regularly on new threads ::)

Old thread I know but just wanted to say how chuffed I am to get rid of that embarrassing click whenever I get into or out of my Calibra.

picked up a couple of washers few weeks ago and after washing the motor today decided to see if these washers would sort the problem.

5 mins later and we have silent doors.

Thanks for the how to. Can't believe I left it this long

Had this problem on mine may years ago. Knowing nothing about I put up with it until there was an almighty CRACK and the door has since sung freely so have to be careful it doesn't swing too wide and it won't hold open. I've bought a second hand check strap and will be fitting it soon. Wish I knew about this before.

Typing faster than I'm thinking, my door hasn't "sung" freely but swung freely since. The car isn't THAT talented! :-[

So what do you type in for 'door clicks'?  I used to have this on the drivers door, but it was cured long ago.  The passenger door is now 'creaking' slightly.  I typed 'door clicks' into the search engine on this site, thinking the solution might be similar and got precisely '0' results. :(

I looked in the guides section to find this thread again so didn't use search  ;D The solution is exactly the same, replace the bush, now 88p plus VAT each  :o
