4x4 Locks into 2WD + Warning Light + Fluid Loss?

I had a case with my 4x4 turbo where one of the power steering hoses busted and I lost all the fluid out of my power steering. Not a huge problem, got a new hose from Vauxhall for about £70 (Bargain ! NOT !!) fitted the hose and re-filled the oil using the correct grade specified in the manual.
The problem was fixed and my power steering worked fine.
The next thing was 3 weeks down the line I was driving along and the 4x4 warning light came on, the car locked itself into 2 wheel drive. After phoning around various Vauxhall garages all saying that the transfer box had gone and it will be a minimum of £2500 to fix, I took it to my local Vauxhall dealer to have some tests done on it. Luckily this diagnosed that it was a sensor that was at fault. It turns out that the 4x4 shares the same oil as the power steering, if the system drains out you have to take it to Vauxhall to be bled out correctly. If you don't (Like myself) you get air locks in the system and your 4x4 will fail.
The good news is Vauxhall just bled out the air correctly and the car jumped back into four wheel drive and saved me lots of cash.
