okay guys ive got some information back from total vauxhall :

Ok we should be able to cover something with you guys, be nice to get a club in that hasn’t featured for a long time.

We only publish 12 cars in the dyno feature, so it’d be first come first shot as it were (we use the extra space to run buyers guides now).

well we have 12 cars but atm there are only five as definate whos car will be featured on the dyno ,so for the rest of you will need to confirm that you will be attending the event.

well it looks like the 27th as we have 7 voters on .net and 4 on .com as to the other dates

its a shame that robv couldnt make it on that day ,especially would be interesting to see what hes running in his blue meany
but im sure hed like to see what results his other old car on the dyno seeing he cant make it.

ok guys the voting has finished now so the date of the event will be on the 27th march 2010 , i just need to get 2 more people confirmed to have there car featured on the dyno for total vauxhall mag and speak to the guy at torqueof the devil and arrange all..

after we have 12 to be featured , anyone else is welcome to come along but i will check with the guy on whether we can add extra people to the list on the day.

Just an observation: you appear to have 9 definites and 3 possibles, although only 6 people voted in the poll. I assume that this is because the other 6 didn't have a preference for the date. Is it worth checking whether the two who did not vote for 27th March can still make that date?

From past experience of meets and 'drop-outs' on the day, it would be good if you can get at least another 3 confirmations to make the minimum 10 required to secure the £10/car discount more likely.

ive taken the votes from .net also as there was a voting for 78% on there with 7 votes and there were 4 votes from here for the 27th of march plus ive said that between now and before the venue that we may get a few others to add to the list.

That's great. I just think that you deserve this event to be a success, but I'm conscious that at least one previous attempt to organise a RR day was unsuccessful because people pulled-out at the last minute.
