I have good news and that is that the venue for the Rolling Road Shootout Day is on the 27th March 2010 as agreed today with Andy(the guy ive contacted down at Torque of the Devil), he has said that we are to inform him before the event if we happen to get more members who want to put the cars on the dyno whether its people that may dropout or add to the list.(hopefully we shudnt have ).

Andy has also said that he doesnt mind that Total Vauxhall will be there doing a photoshoot for the 12 confirmed (1st come ,first served basis as only 12 can be featured on the magazine in a later issue due to the magazine being added with extras)
I have emailed Dougie this afternoon informing him that the venue is booked as we all voted but he hasnt got back to me as yet but im sure this wont be a problem.

The lucky members who will get featured in the magazine will be :

Okay now Andy has told me what we will expect to get each on the day of the event:

* He would like everybody who is attending the event to be ready for a 9am start (earlier the better so I want everyone there well before 9am please)

* The prices we will pay each will be depending on whether we have 10+cars or less cars
: Upto 10 cars on the day will cost £45 each
: Over 10 cars+ will make this on the day cost £35 each

* We get 5 power runs or as Andy as said as many is as needed

* Tea/coffee and also bacon and sausage sandwiches will also be provided in the cost

* We will each get a graph presented in a folder with whatever information you want on it.

* The maximum number of cars that can attend is 35 max
(we have 12 confirmed for photo shoot so we need a few more)

* This event is only for Saturdays

* This is for a 4 wheel drive dyno (perfect for Calibra turbos etc...

That has basically answered any questions you guys might of had ,so lets make this event a good one

im not 100% sure but there maybe a case your car might not get featured in the mag because its not a vauxhall.
maybe chip would know this fact , but i will be contacting dougie at total vauxhall to see if this will make a difference.

DanBastardisedHybridCali bra sorry mate, as to your question im not sure as most would want to get on the rolling road ,but as youve said im sure if the people that want to watch but i guess it depends on the rolling roader guys and if they have any rules .

today ive called andy at torque of the devil and hes fine with my selection for the 1st 12 people (he said the total vauxhall crew wouldnt want to be hanging around so he said they should just shoot the first 12 which are 8v,16,v6 and turbos.

and hes said it doesnt matter if he has to adjust the settings for the other cars after the 12 (which is very good of him) ie more v6s etc

Total vauxhall will not be hanging around all day so that the running order i have said to him .
