It rots my sack, because a guy called mansfield here was going to build a new international track to bring F1 to Ireland.
He was going to build it here in my home town Portlaosie but couldnt Because MR Mondello objected and brought it to the courts

Yeah his argument was that Portlaosie is only 35 mins down the raod. So woul put him out of buisness.
There was huge plans for that place, Not just a F1 track, Hotel and a huge sports complex. Would of done wonders for my town and put me in work lol

if you get the oppertunity id try to set that rear wing up to get the best results out of it, as when i had 1 it looked fine but when i got to 100mph it was noticably slower reaching 140mph than when it wasnt on at all, and its not like a calibra to hang its arse out much in a corner anyway, its more weight too, a ruff calculation is for every 10 kilos of weight removed is the same as adding 1 bhp, also improves handling i hear, so less really is more.

Thanks for the input lad, I will be doing runs with it off any way.

Right, I drove 6 hours today to pick up an exhaust. Mate came with me and he got a 4 branch manifold for his c20ne corsa.
The exhaust on the car was fucked so I said I would replace it instead of fixing it.
NEW ONE (well its second hand)

Car looks beasty :) Very brooding

Losing the weight improves your braking, handling, acceleration... even stuff like tyre wear and fuel economy too. It's win/win/win/win.

Watch out with the brake lines. I ordered a few sets of stainless braided hoses from ebay sellers and all the rear ones turned out to have the wrong flare, a single flare instead of a double flare IIRC, which will fit but is like totally not good  :o potential brake failure  >:(. Luckily I have the gear to remake the brake lines so was able to sort it out. Just double check that the fittings on the ends of the hoses are correct, should be --> >--- , not --> <-- or --< >--, if that makes sense ::)
Just got theses in the post and your right, The rear ones are wrong, it should be to female connections and not a male/female. My mate was looking at them and said we could get around it, I gonna have to replace what they connect on to, good thing to because there rusty. Thanks for the heads up.

Right tomorrow I'm collecting 15" alloys for the cally, Im gonna scarp the 14s idea. There way to small.
Did small bit today,
I drilled 5 holes out of the front bumper where the number plate use to be to allow more air to the rad, plus I removed the drivers side light and made an air duct out of the back of it.

Your telling me I broke the front drivers side of the bumper today. I only took it for a rip down the road and just came across a hollow on the road and smack, :( It was only fixed sprayed the other week. lol Not even seen the track.

She is coming on really well now lad!! I reckon if you took your time you could keep the drivers side light altogether, and just remove say the fog light, and drill a hole in the glass/plastic to suit!

You still got that sunroof motor at all lad?? Starting a new job on Monday which will fund me at some time hopefully in March to make a trip up to you for it....
Rust never sleeps......... Neither do I
